SELVIN THANACOODY

Selvin joined Fideres in September 2025 in their London office. Prior to joining Fideres, he spent 3 years at the Financial Conduct Authority as a competition economist, where he worked on complex competition matters, including vertical relationships, pricing principles and auction design.
Selvin holds a PhD in Economics from the University of East Anglia, where he specialised in the economics of regulation of public utilities. One of his PhD papers has been published in Utilities Policy. He obtained a Master's Degree in Industrial Organisation from the Toulouse School of Economics and completed internships at Microeconomix (now Deloitte) and the Competition Commission of Mauritius.
