TEJ PATEL
Tej joined Fideres in September 2025, bringing over two years of experience in competition economics. Prior to joining, he was a Vice President at AlixPartners in their Competition Economics team, where he advised clients on complex matters involving abuse of dominance and anti-competitive agreements. Tej has worked across a broad range of sectors including digital marketplaces, telecommunications, water, mobile app stores, and price comparison websites. His experience includes contributing to expert reports in landmark cases such as Epic v Google in the UK and the Amazon BuyBox carriage dispute. He has conducted economic analysis on issues such as market definition, market power, competitive effects, and damages estimation, often using large datasets and econometric modelling techniques. Tej holds an MSc in Economics from University College London and a BSc in Economics from the University of Nottingham.
