PROF. PHIL CROSS
Dr. Cross is an experienced testifying expert in class action, antitrust, wage-and-hour and other employment matters. He has opined on damages in lost profits, lost wages, breach-of-contract and industrial espionage cases. He has designed and implemented online surveys, and applied discrete-choice econometric methods to the results, to identify consumers' willingness to pay for particular product attributes. Dr. Cross also has considerable experience opining on the effects of platform most-favoured-nation pricing structures in digital markets.
Dr. Cross has over 25 years of experience as an economist in academia, consulting and government. He has held academic appointments at the Economics Departments of Georgetown University, Johns Hopkins University and the University of Melbourne, and has been published in top academic journals. He is currently a non-governmental advisor representing the Department of Justice at the International Competition Network. Dr. Cross holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Wisconsin and a B.Com(Hons) from the University of New South Wales.
