CHARLES NICHOLSON

Charles is a competition economist with ten years of consulting experience, working to develop Fideres’s environmental litigation practice. 

His competition economics consulting experience includes abuse of dominance and follow-on damages litigation cases in the United Kingdom. He has also worked extensively on merger control cases before the European Commission and national competition authorities.  

He also has an academic specialisation in environmental economics, having joined Fideres after completing a Master’s in the Economics of Energy, Climate Change and Sustainability at the Barcelona School of Economics. 

Prior to this, he worked for RBB Economics in London and Madrid, as well as being seconded to the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission in Melbourne.  

At Fideres, Charles works on antitrust and environmental litigation, applying quantitative economic analysis to complex cases.
